Oh, Honey.

Hey folks, first #FoodieMonster of 2016! Woop Woop! And what better way to start the New Year than trying another Middle Eastern diner in the city?

You know how obsessed I am with anything related to Ottolenghi  (in fact, I might pop in there for a sweet treat today…) so I hadthis family run restaurant was a must to try out.

What? Honey & Co.

Where? 25 Warren St, W1T 5LZ

Why? Because is seriously yummy food for a very reasonable price. Portions are ginormous and the dishes were soo tasty! Hmmm, I just want to try it all over again. On our visit we had Cinnamon spiced falafel with tomato, chilli & orange salad, tahini & Silan and some creamy hummus, obvs. Puuurfect way to kick start your meal. Then I tried the Roasted beef kofta (classic) with red peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes & garlic yogurt as my main and my friend tried the Shaharia, a slow-cooked duck with clementines & apricots, baked in kadaif pastry. Nothing much to report other than it was freaking delicious!

Eventhough the menu is not the largest it was very difficult to choose. All the options were so tempting! They have a winter menu which seems to die for but we are tiny and that just looked like waaaay to much food for us! If you are hungry it is worth considering, though! You get a 5 dish mezze plus a main of your choice for about £25. Pretty good, right?

When? Honestly, anytime would be good. They are open from 7.30am to 10,30pm every day except for sundays. I highly recommend you to book before you get there as the place is quite tiny AND I also suggest you going for brunch. They’ve got an amazing offer for £14.5 and you genuinely can’t walk after having so much delicious food.

INDULGE CARELESS READERS, INDULGE!
