How beautiful Sundays are. Specially when you actually do something rather than stay at home with a massive hangover...which usually happens. As I previously stated in my posts, if you want to do something on a Sunday in London, I'd go East. Not because it is a cool spot (yes, it is), but because it has so much to offer! In the past I suggested you to go to Brick Lane and stroll through the Fashion Market. This time I'd say go a little bit further and enjoy the bright & colourful Flower Market on Columbia Road.
I've been there few times and since it is only ON on sundays, it is always pretty busy. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth the hassle. There loads of flowers on offer and they are beautifully placed, bringing a very charming atmosphere to the neighbourhood. Not to say this is the place to be if you want to be noticed. The area is surrounded by hipster cafés and pubs, full of stylish underground/alternative people.
Yesterday, my pals and I wander around the area for few hours (with a coffee-fuel stop at The Lilli Vanilli Bakery, AMAZING PLACE) and then decided to head back to Shoreditch High St and have a drink at the rooftop of The Boundary. If it's a sunny day, I highly recommend you going. Drinks are reasonably priced, and you've got a nice view of the city in very comfy sofas.
To conclude, don't waste another sunday at home and get yourself involved in what London has to offer. But remember, always do it with style.
